The Team is wrapping up a very successful first week for Phase 3 unit testing, which involves testing real-life situations (called ‘scenarios’) that NSHE’s Workday configuration will support when it goes live in October 2017. After spending some time as a group refining the testing tool, Testers have completed 16% of the nearly 1,200 scenarios that were identified for Phase 3 unit testing. The percentage of scenarios that have failed testing is much lower than the industry average of 20% for this kind of testing—a promising early indicator that NSHE’s Workday configuration is well-aligned with its planned business processes. Phase 3 unit testing is on track to be completed on September 9th, as scheduled.
